Jimm's musical experience began as a small child. He is the son of J.D.Davis, the Guitar Playing Band Leader of the DAVIS BROTHERS BAND, in the small town of Helena, Arkansas, now famous for the 4 day....... KING BISCUIT BLUES FESTIVAL.

    By the time he got out of college, in 1975, he had already become a seasoned musician, playing drums in Clubs and Studios around the Memphis area. This is where Jimm learned to be a Recording Engineer. He has been in Houston, Texas since 1978 playing hundreds of Concerts, Shows, and Sessions. Jimm has owned and operated DIAMOND GEM STUDIO since 1984.
